About Us
Workshop Design Studio is a RIBA Chartered architecture and design practice offering services in interior design, architecture, planning and project management.
Our award-winning studio works on a diverse typology of sectors ranging from private residential to commercial office schemes.
We are a small, boutique studio with a lot of passion for what we do. Our small size means we can offer a high-quality, highly-personalised service to our clients and we take pride in the positive, lasting relationships that we create.
The core values, on which the studio was founded, guide every decision we make. We have integrity. We are authentic. We are outward looking. We care deeply about design and never stop learning.
Nestled in between The Cheshire Plain and Peak District National Park, the studio was founded in 2018 by award-winning architect and designer Peter Milburn Brown, after many years working for leading practices in London and Manchester, as well as internationally in South East Asia.
Peter’s background is unusual in that he qualified both as an architect and as an interior designer, giving him a thorough background in everything from interior spatial design, lighting and materiality to a technical understanding of buildings, planning, contracts and project management.
Workshop Design Studio is the culmination of that training and experience, combined with Peter’s future-facing vision.
